Children’s Birthday Parties
“Indulge Your Sweet Tooth” Party (a cupcake decorating party ideal for any age)

Includes 2 cupcakes per child (one to eat at the party and one to take home) with your choice of cake and frosting. Each guest will get to frost their own cupcakes using our pastry bags and decorative tips!  We also provide an assortment of decorative toppers such as colored sprinkles, chocolate chips, mini flowers, etc. for the children to add to their cupcakes. Choice of milk or juice provided for each participant. We also provide set-up in our private party room with decorations, plates, napkins etc. and we do all the clean-up. Gift bags of a mini muffin pan, whisk and spatula are provided for each child so they can get started baking at home! This party is not hosted by our staff; if you desire a host we would be more than happy to provide one for an additional $20.00/hr fee.
$12.00 per child plus $50.00/hour room rental fee (minimum 8 children for booking)

Our private room is the perfect setting for a bridal or baby shower…ideal for a late afternoon meeting, staff reward or private celebration…Sweetest Thing cupcakes offers a unique, quaint environment sure to please any get together. Let us provide the sweets, beverages, coffee, teas, and a lovely atmosphere so you can enjoy each other’s company without the hassle. Room Rental Rate- $50.00/ hour

Terms and Conditions For All Events
Once a date is available and booked for a party, a $50.00 nonrefundable room deposit is due. This deposit will be deducted from your total receipt at the completion of your party.
A Private Party Room Agreement must be signed for all parties that are not hosted by our staff.
All reservation inquiries and party details are handled by our Private Party Coordinator exclusively; other members of our staff are unable to give information out about availability. Please call the bakery and ask for Ann to help you with your party. Requests for party information can be made via email at info@sweetestthingcupcakes.com; however, we are unable to book parties via email.

Parties are booked on a first come/first serve basis. Rates subject to change without notice. All parties subject to current rate at time of signed reservation/ confirmed booking.

General Party Room Rental 9am-6pm (Tues-Thur) 9am-8pm (Fri-Sat

Hourly Room Rental Rate: $50/Hour

Store Closure For Private Event (available only on Sundays and Mondays with the discretion of the owners): $150/Hour

Set up time- All Parties- Host may arrive up to 30 minutes prior to the event time to set up the room at no additional charge. DO NOT arrive sooner than this time as the room is used by us for general seating when parties are not taking place. Parties requiring more than 30 minutes to set up will need to reserve earlier to allot for this.

The time reserved is the time charged regardless if guests leave early.

Guests should exit the room by the end of the reserved time so that staff may clean the space and prepare the room for the next event or general seating. Parties that are not cleared from the room by 15 minutes after the reserved time will be charged an additional ½ hour room fee.

Permitted Use Of The Space
The maximum number of guests in the private party room is 20 seated guests. This number includes all attendees- no exceptions. For the comfort of your entire party and other store patrons, please do not invite more guests than the room can hold. THIS IS AGAINST FIRE CODE. Our private party room is a separate space and the general seating area is reserved for daily store patrons and is not to be used for parties that overflow.

General Information For All Events
Your event date and time allowance must be reserved with a nonrefundable $50.00 deposit at time of booking. In the event you need to cancel your party, we need at least a two week prior notice. Those cancelled after this allotted time forfeit their $50.00 deposit. (it is difficult for us to re-book a new party on such short notice)

There is a minimum $40 Food/Beverage purchase required with all private room bookings.

Please confirm your guest count and food/beverage needs at least 2 days prior to your event.

Our staff will set-up your room with the requested supplies, desserts, beverages and plates prior to your party’s start time. To avoid disturbing your party, our staff will not be coming in and out of the room, so if you need additional supplies during your party, your host should please let the counter staff know and we are happy to add additional items. Serving of the food and beverages is the responsibility of the host. We do not have full service staff available.

Your are welcome to bring in other food items from home or a preferred caterer. When dealing with caterers, please make them aware that we have a limited kitchen and that their food will need to be cooked and prepared off site and brought in in chafing dishes. We do require that you allow us to supply you with dessert and beverages.

Hosts may be permitted to bring in champagne or wine for ADULT FUNCTIONS ONLY. We can provide you with glassware and no more than 1 standard sized bottle per 4 adults is allowed. No beer or liquor please.

We are able to provide you with glassware, plateware, coffee cups and silverware for your event.

ALL activities, entertainment, decorations, etc must be pre-approved prior to the party. Our beautiful setting has been painstakingly restored and preserved with the original woodwork, fixtures and built-ins, therefore, we ask that you do not bring in anything that can spill, damage or stain the floors, walls, or word work. We do not allow anything to be taped or pinned to the walls or ceiling and we do not allow anything with a flame (other than a birthday candle- no sparklers please).

Delivery of food, decorations, or any other items need to be scheduled when the host can be present (within 30 minutes of event time) to receive them. All outside items brought in are the responsibility of the host.

Please be aware that any damages to any part of the store, furniture, or serving pieces by event attendees will be the responsibility of the event host and necessary charges will be applied to the event total.
