FAQ’s
What ingredients do you use in your cupcakes? I believe in baking with products that are as close to their natural state as possible. Therefore, we use Bob’s Red Mill unbleached white wheat pastry flour, organic evaporated cane juice, non-aluminum baking powder, Madagascar bourbon vanilla, Nielsen-Massey’s pure extracts, Callebaut’s Cacao Barry cocoas, Guittard’s chocolates, Plush Puff’s natural marshmallows, raw nuts, India Tree’s natural sprinkles and colors, RBST-free dairy from our local dairy and many other wonderful products.
Is there soy in your cupcakes? Not generally, however we will use some toppings (like Oreos) that contain soy lecithin. It is always best to ask.
Do you bake daily? Yes, Ann gets up super early (way too early) and scratch bakes every morning and again in the afternoon.
Do you have Gluten-free cupcakes? Yes, we do! We prepare all our gluten free cupcakes daily on site outside of our bakery with the highest quality ingredients.
Do you ever run out of cupcakes before you close? Yes, it does happen. Customer consumption can be as unpredictable as the sunshine in Oregon! And because we are a scratch bake bakery with one baker on staff right now, we will run out at times. Please call ahead if you are making a special trip or need a special cupcake so that we can put some aside for you.
Do you do wedding cupcakes? Yes, we do! We can create an amazing cupcake display for your wedding. We can also do a 6″ top cake for cutting and Jenny, our amazing cake decorator, can decorate whatever you desire. Let us know your cake flavors/ creation and we can bake it!
Do you do special occasion cakes? Yes. At this time we do cupcake cakes for your special occasion and we have recently expanded our menu to include various sizes of custom cakes. We love making our customers special occasions even more special so call the bakery and tell us what you want and we can discuss design and pricing.
Do you deliver? Yes, for a fee depending on where you are located. If in town (Newberg), you’re free!
Are you a franchise? No, we’re a family owned business started by a dream and lots of prayers.
How can we find you? We are located in Newberg, OR (on your way to wine country and the beach). We are right on highway 99W (before you get to downtown Newberg) on the north side of the highway in a beautiful 1920’s yellow craftsman home. Just look up for the tallest pine tree on the highway and you’ve found us!
Do you host parties and birthday parties at your bakery? We have a great private party room for birthdays. We have cupcake decorating parties or you can rent the room for your own party. See our party section on the website.
Do you donate your cupcakes? Yes, we do a lot of donations and love to supply cupcakes to the local community events, schools and organizations. Please fill out our donation form; we review donation forms once a month and make a decision on what we will donate.
Can you ship your cupcakes? At this time we are not set up for shipping, but it will definitely be something we will do in the future (Ann’s bro works for UPS- job security!)
Can I order from your website? Ann loves to shop on line and completely understands the ease of it. So, in the near future we will have ordering on line for pick up in the store.
